Well written with lots of interesting details about the lesser known wars of the late 1800's and early 1900's. This guy really got around! Has a surprisingly self-effacing sense of humor. Maybe I should have given it four stars.
Davis covered every war worth talking about in his era, and Remington's pictures are excellent. A fine piece of journalistic history.
This is a better book on paper than as an ebook, but you can't beat the $0.00 price.
